A guide for clients visiting the atelier.

Here you will find studio policies, preparation guidance, and general information for those seeking an appointment.

I - APPOINTMENTS

Appointments are offered on a project basis and released in limited periods throughout the year. Clients wishing to begin a new piece are invited to submit and enquiry outlining their concept, placement and approximate scale.

Successful enquiries will be contacted with available dates and booking information.

II- DEPOSITS

A deposit is required to secure all appointments.

Deposits confirm your booking and allow time to be dedicated to the design and preparation of your project.

They are non-refundable but may be transferred in the event of a reschedule with sufficient notice up to one time. A new deposit will have to be made in the event of multiple reschedules.

III - RESCHEDULING

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.

Appointments may be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe; however, repeated rescheduling may result in the loss of your deposit and require a new booking.

IV - PREPARATION

To ensure the best experience and outcome for your tattoo, please:

- arrive well rested

- eat a full meal beforehand

- stay hydrated

- avoid alcohol the night prior

Comfortable clothing that allows access to the tattoo area is recommended. The studio environment is calm, private and focused to allow full attention to the work being created. Detailed information will be sent prior to your appointment.

Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided following your appointment.

VI - STUDIO LOCATION

The Atelier is based in Melbourne, Australia. 

Address details are provided upon confirmation of your appointment.

VII - DESIGNS

All designs are created specifically for each client and are not shared prior to the appointment.

Your design will be presented on the day of your session. Minor adjustments can be made where necessary before the tattoo begins.

IX - NUMBING PRODUCTS

The studio does not permit the use of numbing creams unless discussed in advance. Clients may be refused upon arrival if numbing has not been discussed prior with Elle.

Certain products can alter the texture and behaviour of the skin during the tattoo process, which may impact the final result.

If you have questions regarding pain management or medical considerations, please contact Elle prior to your appointment so arrangements can be made.

X - INTOXICATION POLICY

Clients must arrive for their appointment in a clear and sober state.

Anyone attending the studio under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be tattooed and appointment to be cancelled, forfeiting their deposit and potential ban for future appointments.

XI - STUDIO RATES

Elle primarily works on larger compositions and full-day sessions.
Detailed pricing will be discussed once your appointment request has been reviewed.

One-off or smaller pieces will be quoted depending on size and complexity of each project.
